We provide group and individual instruction for all levels. If you are a beginner, we supply the basic equipment to ensure the safety of the participants.
As a safety requirement, it is necessary that all participants be a minimum of 8 years old. We also require all archers to wear appropriate footwear (No open toe shoes.)
Group Classes take close to 2-1/2 hours and can have as many as eighteen participants per session.
The purpose of the class is to learn the basics of shooting safely
After a short period of practice, the elements of aiming are introduced followed by a few aiming exercises to build confidence.
Finishing those exercises the class is rewarded with a combination of archery games and/or friendly competition.
Once completing the beginning class, students may opt to take an intermediate class where bow sights are introduced and the finer points of form and aiming are taught and practiced. These classes comprise of no more than two or three students working with one instructor at a time for a two hour session.
Private lessons provide instruction beyond the beginner & intermediate lessons or if you prefer one-on-one instruction with an instuctor. We will match you with an instructor that can help you develop your form and improve your scores, shooting either Traditonal or Compound bows. (Rates and schedules are set by the individual instructor).
